Shipping
All shipping is calculated by weight and only charged at cost. Postage within the UK is free. Please note that for international buyers a deduction equivalent to the cost of the UK postage will be applied against the courier charge. All items are wrapped such that they should withstand any mistreatment in transit. However, accidents can happen and, for this reason, the seller will ensure that an appropriate level of insurance is being provided when paying for any shipping. Items are posted within 5-7 working days of purchase and the buyer will be notified when an item has been dispatched, and provided with tracking information. If you are outside the UK, and in the unlikely situation that it is necessary, it will be your responsibility to pay any customs charges. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and if you have any concerns then you should contact your local customs office to find out more and confirm details before you purchase an item.
Unique Work
As mentioned elsewhere on the website, no two pieces sold are ever the same. Every effort has been made to ensure that images represent the colours and nature of the work, etc, as accurately as possible. However, please note that different computer/phone screen settings may mean that there are slight and minor variations in colour tones, etc., compared with the images on the website.
Given the various processes involved in the making of handmade ceramics - firing, shrinkage, etc, - any piece of unique artwork is unlikely to be defined as 'perfect' in every aspect. Slight and minor imperfections are what distinguish handmade goods from those that are mass produced. Please ask for extra images if you feel that the ones on the website are insufficient to help you decide whether or not to buy an item. Any description of work is for illustrative purposes only. Every effort has been made to ensure that details and measurements are accurate. There may, however, be very small discrepancies in the sizes quoted mostly due to uniqueness of the work and conversions from inches to millimetres and/or vice versa. Any differences are unlikely to be more than + or - 3mm / 0.125".
Returns
Whilst work has to be assumed as 'sold as seen', were you to wish to return the an item then a full refund will be issued (other than for commissioned work where a refund will not be possible). Please ensure that the item is packed in the original packaging. It will be the purchaser's responsibility to meet the cost of the courier for the return of the ceramics, and to ensure an approproate level of insurance is provided, commensurate to the original purchase price. On the successful and safe return of an item, the full price paid for the artwork itself will be refunded.
Use of Images
Individual images from the website can be used as long as they ar credited to 'Paul Ramsey www.ceramics9.com'
